House CleaningOur Professional House Cleaning Services

A Clean Vision strives to never miss a detail. Our residential house cleaning service can clean every room of your home based on a customized cleaning plan that we define with you.

As our professional house cleaners move through your home, they will dust every room top to bottom and left to right. We dust the hard-to-reach corners and remove the dust that clings to ceiling fans and light fixtures. We always work from the top down. This cleaning method helps contain dust and dirt and makes it easier to remove from your home.
We clean from the ceiling to your shelves, furniture, counters and finally the low surfaces. After dusting the floorboards and ensuring clean surfaces, we begin specific room cleaning procedures, including wiping surfaces to rid your home of harmful bacteria, allergens and cold-causing germs.

Specific Cleaning Procedures

A professional house cleaning from A Clean Vision means that each room in your house receives specific cleaning attention. All home cleanings have an extensive checklist to ensure every detail, crack and crevice of your home sparkles.
Below is how we perform each specific aspect of the cleaning process.

Dusting

A Clean Vision does a full dusting as part of the basic service with every cleaning visit.
Move Items
We move any items on a shelf or table to ensure a full surface dusting. This is actually more efficient than picking up each item and dusting under it. If the shelf or table has many things on it then we make sure everything goes back exactly the way it was by taking a picture with our cell phone camera before we start.
Window Ledges
When we dust window ledges we always raise the blinds or curtains so that we can access all ledges.
Ceiling Fans
We make sure that your ceiling fans are completely dusted. This is an item often overlooked but know for sure that your ceiling fans will be properly dusted by A Clean Vision.
Baseboards
We always do baseboards. Most services never touch them but they are one of the key elements to making your house look clean. If everything else if clean then dirty baseboards will stick out. We make sure your baseboards are clean.
Door Jams & Light Switch Plates
These are items that can be overlooked but A Clean Vision makes sure these items are as clean as the rest of the room.
Patio Doors
Patio doors, and entry doors are a must-clean. We always look closely for nose prints at the level where your cute little animals press up against the glass.
Special Items
As part of our basic cleaning we include bed frames including the side rail, the side of cabinets and armoires, door panels, banisters and spindles, chair legs and bases, curtain rods, pictures and their frames, stairwell ledges, dining room table legs and bases.
We always clean under the cushions on your couches.

Vacuuming

The vacuuming of your floors is done after dusting as any debris from any of the other cleaning procedures ends up on the floor. We are both efficient and thorough. It is important to vacuum well as mopping that is done after poor vacuuming will hinder mopping.
Area Rugs
For large area rugs (8 x 10 and up) we vacuum under the edges. We pick up smaller rugs and do a complete vacuuming under them as this prepares the floor for mopping.
Closets
If you want us to clean your closets then we can do this too. We like to empty out a closet and give it a full cleaning. This is especially important for the hall closets used for an entrance to your home. These closets can have a great deal of dirt as dirt gets tracked in on shoes from outside.
Lamp Shades
We vacuum lamp shades and we hold the seams with one hand while vacuuming.
Entrance Area from Your Garage
If you have an entrance from the garage into your house then we vacuum towards or into the garage which will keep the dirt from making its way into your house.

Mopping

When we mop hardwood floors we use water, but would be glad to use a preferred cleaning product you have on hand. We use a damp mop head and make sure the mop is not too wet.
We always mop our way out of a room. We also keep the mop head going in the same direction of the grain of the hardwood floor. This technique reduces the chance of streaks forming.

Bathrooms – Special Attention

Bathrooms are one of the most important areas we focus on when cleaning your home. These rooms are in regular use by you and will be used by every guest to your home.
A lot of us get used to how our bathrooms look over time. We always look at your bathroom as someone who has never seen it before would. Maybe there are some little things that you have gotten use to but others may find unsightly. We can fix this or bring it to your attention.
Mirrors
Mirrors will be streak-free from all angles. A mirror will also stay cleaner longer if it’s really clean.
Toilets
We clean the bowl, lids, fronts, bases, tops, and especially in and around the seat fasteners where dirt tends to collect. We wipe the base of the toilet and always clean behind the toilet by hand including the baseboard as a mop just can’t do this job.
Fixtures
Clean all lights (including the bulbs once they have cooled), toilet paper and towel racks, and the tops of the shower curtain rod. Also take care to clean the underside of taps.
If you have a shower door with metal trim we will also clean the track.
Walls
We clean the walls and pay close attention to splash marks on the wall where hand towels are kept. We also give special attention to the near the toilet.
When we are done your house looks beautiful!
